Lutheran Social Services of South Central Pennsylvania is now hiring an LPN Charge Nurse.
Lutheran Social Services of South Central Pennsylvania provides residential living, personal care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in six senior living communities; home healthcare, home health telemonitoring, in-home support services and hospice care; a commu! nity-based program that allows skilled nursing-eligible senior! s to remain living in their homes; and a range of community outreach services, including a Health, Education and Life Enrichment Program (H.E.L.P.) Center, case management, counseling services, financial literacy programs, deaf and hard of hearing services, domestic violence/abuse intervention and several volunteer-based assistance programs.

General Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents; performing various documentation and communication duties; ensuring safety and care of resident environment; providing residents with dignity and respect; achieving goals as established in the department’s annual operating plan; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; supervising assigned staff; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: Must possess a current unencumbered LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Skill(s): Speak and understand English; proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal re! lations and communicative skills; proficient decision-making skills; pr! oficient assessment skill; thorough knowledge of current Department of Health regulations; current CPR certification; demonstrated supervisory skills. Refer to separate analysis for physical requirements of the essential functions with or without accommodation.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year's experience in related positions preferred.
