JOB SUMMARY:
Performs patient assessment, IV conscious sedation and patient/family teaching. Provides clinical support to the provider, assists the physician with surgical and dental procedures.
Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.
Works under the direct and / or general supervision of a designated oral surgeon and the Clinic Coordinator in Dental Medicine / Oral Surgery.

Demonstrates effective oral, written and communication skills.
Demonstrates knowledge and strong interpersonal skills to provide age appropriate care and meet the needs of a diverse population.

Demonstrates flexibility and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Pennsylvania required.
Critical care experience preferred.
BLS and ACLS certification required. PALS certification preferred.
Minimum of six months to one year experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Lifting patients, bending and extended periods of standing involved in job duties.
