This is an LPN position, RNs will be considered.

This position will serve the Family Practice Department.

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides primary clinical support to the provider, patient and their family to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient's condition. Follows up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing of same in medical record to ensure continuity and quality of care. Promotes a clean environment. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in specific age range on their assi! gned clinical area.

Works under the general direction! of the Site Lead for daily operational issues.

Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

:

• Demonstrates oral, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Demonstrates basic navigation in a windows environment, and passwords and security. Accesses the internet, uses basic browser functionality, and understands policy on Internet usage. Demonstrates the ability to compose, send and read emails, understands email functionality and conventions related to replying.
• Organization Skills
• Must be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of accredited nursing program, current PA license or eligible for licensure. Must be qualified to pass medications. Must be BLS certified.

One year prior medical/surgical or clinic related experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
