Lutheran Social Services of South Central Pennsylvania provides residential living, personal care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in six senior living communities; home healthcare, home health telemonitoring, in-home support services and hospice car! e; a community-based program that allows skilled nursing-eligi! ble seniors to remain living in their homes; and a range of community outreach services, including a Health, Education and Life Enrichment Program (H.E.L.P.) Center, case management, counseling services, financial literacy programs, deaf and hard of hearing services, domestic violence/abuse intervention and several volunteer-based assistance programs.

General Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents; performing various documentation and communication duties; ensuring safety and care of resident environment; providing residents with dignity and respect; achieving goals as established in the department’s annual operating plan; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; supervising assigned staff; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: Must possess a current unencumbered LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Skill(s): Speak and understand English; proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient inter! personal relations and communicative skills; proficient decision-making! skills; proficient assessment skill; thorough knowledge of current Department of Health regulations; current CPR certification; demonstrated supervisory skills. Experience: A minimum of one (1) year's experience in related positions preferred.
