The Liberty Family of Services includes Artman, Liberty at Home, Lutheran Children and Family Service, Lutheran Congregational Services, The Hearth at Drexel (formerly Mary J. Drexel,) Paul’s Run Retirement Community and The Village at Penn State.
Responsibilities:
Assists with self-administration of medication and care of residents in the wellness program units and assists Wellness Nurse.
Reports to Wellness Nurse
Assists with activities of daily living required by IL wellness residents.
Reports refusal of medications and/or services to supervisors! and properly document to assure mediations/treatments are don! e privately.
Reports and communicates daily with the Wellness Nurse regarding IL issues.
Communicates with other disciplines to render quality care to residents and makes appointments as needed.
Documents daily report sheets to assure medications are double checked before self-administration and documented at same time and charting as events occur.
Reports incidents on day of incident and fills out forms and reports to Wellness Nurse immediately. Assure family notification as necessary.
Education and Experience
Certified Nursing Assistant (Current PA license).
Instructed in the self-administration of medications and assessment skills.
CPA certified.
