Nurse Practitioner/Surgical Oncology

Description: Healthcare Resources Group of GA, LLC is at the momment seeking for Nurse Practitioner/Surgical Oncology right now, this position will be placed in Pennsylvania. Seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)to work in Surgical Services Department. The position is full-time working Monday through Friday on day shift with flexibility of shift being required based on patient needs as well as participation in being on-call.

This position will support the Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) and surgical oncology program working directly with nationally recogn! ized physicians in this area. This position will support the p! atients and surgeons in performing pre-op consultations, histories and physicals, perioperative care including assisting in the operating suite, post-op rounds and post-operative follow up.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania RN and CRNP licenses required for CRNP candidates (or eligible for immediate Pennsylvania licensure) or current Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license required for Physician Assistant candidates (or eligible for immediate Pennsylvania licensure).
• Completed a program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education of the American Medical Association Council on Medical Education for the training of Physician Assistants; or Education programs on the Armed Forces of the United States, Public Health Service, or their successor agencies which meet the criteria specified by NCCPA. Successfully passing National Certification Examination. Maintains required number of CME hours as required by the professional! organization for Physician Assistant candidates.
• Prior experience in an operating room required, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
• Current CPR/BLS and ACLS Certifications required.
