Assures spiritual care and assessment is provided through appropriate intervention and referral of patients, families, significant others, and staff. Works under the direction of the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Supervisor to meet the requirements of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). Complies with and supports hospital and clinical services philosophy, policies, procedures, and protocols.
Cultivates relationships with community clergy and faith groups in their ministry to persons in Lehigh Valley Health Network Serves as liaison between hospital staff and the Pastoral Care Department. REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree: o! r the equivalent being four years of undergraduate education a! t an accredited college or university and a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education from an accredited ACPE center required Bachelor's degree and one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education required. Prior Ministry Experience required. PREFERRED: Master's degree in a theologically related field from an accredited institution of higher learning and one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education.
LICENSURE: Child Abuse and FBI clearances as required by DPW licensing. , Must possess and maintain current driver's license. Must provide same upon request. Must possess and maintain personal automobile insruance at PA State minimums.
