As Section Supervisor-Absence Management you will supervise the overall operations of the section. You will develop, implement, oversee and evaluate Employee occupational and non-occupational leave and absence programs, on-site professional nursing care services for Employees’ acute and chronic healthcare needs, as well as the Return to Work (RTW) and Work/Life programs in order to maximize Employee productivity. In addition you will design, direct and manage time away from work programs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred . Five years of human resources experience, or related experience, required . Knowledge of related laws and regulations required . Working knowledge of workers compensation administration preferred . Working knowledge of payroll administration and human resources information systems preferred . Experience administering disability leave programs, including FMLA, return to work or case management, preferred . Related designation, such as Associate In Claims, Senior Professional in HR, or Certified Benefits Professional, preferred . Experience in an occupational health setting preferred . Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software required . Supervisory experience preferred .

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS (% of Time):
Lifting : 0-20 lbs. Occasional (<20%); 20-50 lbs. Occasional (<20%); Over 50 lbs. Rarely Driving : Rarely Pushing/Pulling : Occasional (<20%) Manual Keying/Data Entry : Often (20-50%)
