The Clinical Nurse II in the PACU at HUP is responsible for monitoring patients' physiological, psycho-social, and general aspects of care in the immediate post-operative phase. Communicates with patient's physician and anesthesiologist as needed regarding patient's condition and provides appropriate interventions. Assists with the maintenance of Post- Anesthesia Care Unit equipment and inventory.
Minimum Requirements
: รข€¢ Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Pennsylvania
- Current BCLS certification
- Current ACLS certification or Basic EKG/Arrhythmia-identi! fication certification or able to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience in PACU, critical care, or step-down unit.
