Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Clinical Nursing Manager and with guidance and input from Medical Director, functions within the Professional Nursing Law and according to professional standards and his/her level of knowledge and experience. He/she assumes responsibility and accountability for patient care and works with providers to provide an environment that ensures optimal care to patients in Ambulatory Services. Provides care to patients ranging in age from 18 to 100+.
This position is part of Abington â€" Jefferson’s new Asplundh Cancer Pavilion. Training for this position will take place at Abington â€" Jefferson Health’s main campus. Once the Pavilion is open and operational, this position will transfer to the Cancer Center (located in the Willow Grove area of Pennsylvania).

Qualifications:
- 1+ years’ nursing experience preferred.
- 1+ years’ medical office and oncology experience preferred.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing required.
- Current professional registered nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.< /li>
- Achieve Healthcare Provider CPR Certification from the American Heart Association prior to employment and maintain certification thereafter.
