Description

The Hospice Aide functions in a supportive relationship to professional disciplines and may function as an extension of these professional services with written instructions, appropriate supervision and specialized hospice training. Provides personal care, rehabilitative, support services, observation of patient; written and verbal communication; quality improvement / quality assurance activities; records management. Orienting new Hospice Aides when requested or required.

Qualifications

Education:
Hospice Aide training verification or CNA certification in the state of practice preferred.

Experience:
Prefer a minimum of three (3) months work experience as a Nursing Aide, preferably in Hospice care.

Licenses/Certificates:
Hospice Aide training verification or CNA certification in the state of practice preferred. Current CPR card. Current Automobile insurance. Current driver's license.
