Lansdale Hospital, part of Abington Health, is a 125-bed, acute care general hospital providing a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services. The facility includes a 24-hour emergency department where all ED physicians are board-certified in emergency medicine, a 13-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit, a Sleep Center, a Wound Care Center and an 18-bed Orthopaedic and Spine Institute.

The Physical Therapist works under the general supervision of the Administrative Director and Physical Therapy Manager to carry out prescribed treatments to restore function, prevent disability, and/or decrease pain in patients who may range in age from infancy through late adulthood. The Physical Therapist is responsible for maintaining high standards of care as established by the Division of Rehabilitation Medicine. This position reports to the Physical Therapy Manager.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
  • One year physical therapy experience preferred.
  • New graduates accepted.
  • BS, MS or Certification in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university required.
  • Licensure from the Pennsylvania State Board of Professional and Occupational Affairs or licensure eligibility required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
