Somerset Hospital is seeking the following RN management positions, reporting to the CNO:

Director of Clinical Nursing - responsibility for the overall operations and delivery of nursing care for the Nursing division of multiple acute care units. Coordination and leadership of budgets, productivity benchmarks, patient satisfaction and personnel management. Ideal applicants should possess substantial healthcare background with related management experience. A BSN is required along with expertise of regulatory accreditation agencies and strong operational knowledge of programs and services within nursing. Masters in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred.

Director of Nursing Education â€Â" responsibility for development and implementation of educational programs and processes for all levels of nursing caregivers, to include: staff orientation, new clinical equipment and processes, electronic medical record technology and ongoing competency. Development of a strategic plan for assessing staff educational needs that promotes and improves the satisfaction among patients, staff and physicians will be an immediate objective for this nurse leader. Current knowledge of regulatory accreditation agencies and advanced nursing practices is required, along with with prior experience in leading nursing education initiatives. A BSN or Bachelor’s in a related Education or Organizational Leadership required; MSN or Master’s in Healthcare Administration is preferred.
