More details about this job opportunity please read the description below. Milton Hershey School is currently seeking a part-time, night shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) . This posit! ion will be responsible for assisting the registered nurses in providing high-quality health care to MHS students in a 40-bed Health Center. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with admissions and discharge procedures of students, as well as transporting and accompanying students for treatment off campus. The CNAs must maintain personal and professional confidentiality and accountability at all times, while striving to maintain and provide high-quality health care and programs that are "child-centered" and consistent with the vision and mission of the Student Health Services program.

Work Schedule:
Part-time, 10-month night shift, up to 29 hours per week. Schedule/Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 11:00 pm to 7:30 am; Thursday: 5:00 am to 10:00 am.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid certification from a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Valid P! A driver's license in good standing.

OSHA training for blood-borne pathogens.

Physical ability to lift and assist injured students.

Ability to understand and follow school policies and procedures.

Ability to follow detailed and specific instructions.

Respect for confidentiality of all information.

Demonstrate a genuine interest in students.

Commitment and support for all students in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Good judment and maturity.

Ability to work independently and handle highly sensitive/confidential information.

Ability to work and communicate effectively with students and staff.

Working knowledge of a computer and various softwares.

Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff are considered to be role models for MHS students.
