The Executive Director of Care Transformation and Quality is ! a member of the Management Team. He/she has twenty-four hour accountability for the care management and performance improvement (quality), managing within the parameters of the annual personnel and supply budget. The Executive Director assures compliance with all requirements of regulatory bodies. Areas of responsibilities within the scope are Case Management, Utilization Management, Performance Improvement (Quality), and Infection Control. This individual is held accountable within the context of philosophy and mission of Saint Joseph Regional Health Network.

MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the hospital clinical strategic plans
  • Collaborates with the CNO in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs and initiatives specific to quality and case management
  • Assures continuity and consistency of case management and quality across the organization/daily operational performance
  • Leads an! d ensures consistent compliance with all applicable standards ! and requirements from the Joint Commission and Department of Health/PA
  • Assist with the continued development of case transformation within the acute and ambulatory environment
  • Within the job description assess current processes and generates new ideas for improvement while monitoring productivity.
  • Assures that quality standards are consistently tracked analyzed and reported as required for the health care system. Duties include monitoring and providing assistance with quality improvement, ensure programs and services are implemented at the highest level and patients receive the highest level of patient care by collaborating and supporting the clinical leadership team.
Qualifications

Current PA nursing license

8 â€" 10 years of clinical experience across multiple clinical areas

3 â€" 5 years of senior nursing leadership experience

Masters prepared

Strong management leadership skills

3! â€" 5 years of experience with case management and quality

Strong mentoring and coaching experiences

Regulatory requirements, Department of Health, Joint Commission required
