Further informations about this career opportunity please read the description below. Senior Communities is hiring a Full-Time Restorative Nursing Asst. to help support its Cranberry Place location. This will be rotating between daylight and evening shifts and required to work every! other weekend.

Carries out the restorative activities/interventions according to the specifics outlined in the individual restorative program plan for assigned residents

Responsibilities

Implement individual restorative therapy activities/interventions as identified in the resident's plan of care under the direction of the Restorative Coordinator and with guidance and instruction from Rehabilitation/Physical Therapy staff and/or designee.
Complete documentation according to UPMC SRL Restorative Nursing Program requirements.
Participate in the resident care conferences as appropriate/assigned.
Identify potential areas of need and in collaboration with the Restorative Coordinator, and other members of the care delivery team, implement changes in the plan of care specific for residents.
Participate in the transition of a resident from the formal Restorative Nursing Program to a maintenance program.
Maintain a safe environment acc! ording to UPMC SRL Safety Policies and Procedures.
Follow ! Standard Precautions at all times.
Utilize the principles of body mechanics at all times, including providing and requesting assistance in lifts and transfers.
Maintain current CPR certification.
Identify and report any unsafe conditions immediately to the Restorative Coordinator or Maintenance Department.

Basic Qualifications

.Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant Program required.
Clinical experience in long-term care is preferred.
Knowledge and experience in Restorative Nursing philosophy and principles is preferred.
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents.
Ability to execute the interventions as outlined and instructed.
Ability to positively interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.

Licensure/Certifications

Cert Nurse Assistant
Basic Life Support OR Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation!
