Location: East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania

Description: Pocono Medical Center is at present recruited Registered Nurse-OB/L&D right now, this position will be placed in Pennsylvania. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below.

JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinate total nursing care for patients, participate in patient and famil! y teaching, and provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing , Diploma Program, Associate Degree Program, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing, is preferred.

Must have current license or temporary practice permit to practice as Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Must successfully complete orientation including, but not limited to, successful completion of medication validation and written medication examination.

Must maintain current American Heart Association CPR certification.

Must be able to meet health standards for employment.

Qualifications: Obstetrics, Labor & Delivery, Nursery and Level III Nursery

Demonstrated competency level in Fetal Monitoring; nurses without monitorin! g experience must successfully complete an introductory course! within one (1) year of hire and every two (2) years thereafter.

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification within one (1) year of hire.

NCC certification preferred.

Previous clinical experience in Obstetrics preferred.
