JOB SUMMARY:
The Registered! Nurse assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of patients. Provides clinical support to patients including, but not limited to pre and post catheterization, electrophysiology procedure, transesophageal echocardiogram, cardiology observation, SORU, and hospital transfers. Promotes maximum adaptive responses of patient/family to achieve maximum outcomes. Exhibits compassionate caring during patient-nurse interactions. Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specified age range of their assigned nursing unit.
Works under the supervision of the Lead Clinic RN, Operations Manager, Invasive Cardiac Labs and the Medical Director of the Cardiac Recovery Suite.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from an approved school of nursing required. RN currently licensed, or eligible, in the state of Pennsylvania required.
BLS / ACLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year acute care / telemetry experience required. Cardiac monitoring experience and knowledge required.
