This is a great position for an experienced medical surgical RN who would like the adventure of working in different units in the hospital. We are looking for an RN to be in our RN PRN Float Pool in our medicine, surgery, orthopedics, and acute care of the elders units. There will be opportunities to increase your compensation depending upon how many days you commit to the hospital. This is a great opportunity to work in a hospital that has recently applied for Magnet and has been give accolades by the Joint Commission for our quality of care. The ideal staff nurse practices in collabora! tion with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum. You will provide direct care to patients who may range in age from infancy to the elderly and demonstrate competency within the domains of clinical judgment and decision-making, nurse-patient/family relationship, clinical leadership and clinical scholarship. The staff nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age appropriate considerations of assigned patients. The nurse complies with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies.

Minimum Requirements

The qualified candidate must be a graduate of a NLN approved school of professional nursing, have a BSN, and licensure as a registered professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. RN with 3 to 5 years experience in the United States in area (s) for which hired. IV skills, BCLS, o! r ACLS where required. Must possess and demonstrate the skills and competencies to work in any unit in the assigned group.
