Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse II functions as a member of the healthcare team in a manner consistent with their scope of practice in Pennsylvania in concert with the policies and procedures of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation & documentation of care provided, and patient response to interventions. The Clinical Nurse II promotes image enhancement of the organization and its service.

Position is 12 hr shifts - Days

Qualifications

:

Candidates for the RN/ Registered Nurse will meet the following requirements:

·

Hold and maintain a current PA state license to practice as a Registered Nurse / RN.

o

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (w/BSN preferred)

o

Amer! ican Heart Assoc CPR/

BLS (Required)

o
ACLS (Preferred)

o

PALS (Required)

·

Minimum 1-3 years RN CICU pediatric experience required

·

Ability to apply sound judgment with clinical skills to ensure optimal patient care

·

Accepts and supports changes in work assignments as related to department and patient needs.

·

Participates in all departmental and hospital wide educations offerings, mandatory for position along with an ongoing pursuit of Continuing Education Credits in clinical subjects, management, personal growth and development.

·

Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective quality outcomes
