General Summary
Instruct students in! the classroom/lab setting and clinical unit to prepare them for the State Competency Exam. The primary responsibilities of the faculty are to teach and to develop the curriculum. To meet these responsibilities, faculty must remain knowledgeable about advances in their disciplines, in learning theory.
Job Duties
1. The primary responsibilities of faculty are to teach and to develop the curriculum. Prepare and provide students with course outlines that support learning objectives set forth in the course syllabus. Develop and measure learning outcomes. Assess student performance and maintain grade records.
2. Create an effective learning environment through the use of a variety of instructional methods.
3. Collaborate in the development and continued assessment of learning outcomes for use in program reviews and curriculum revision.
4. Work with other program and/or discipline faculty to complete scheduled program reviews and to use the findings to re! vise the curriculum.
5. Implement lesson plan.
6. Demo! nstrate skills in the lab.
7. Observe students performing skills in the lab and ensure that students are performing them correctly according to State guidelines.
8. Support the college's goals.
9. Advise students concerning their educational needs, performance levels, consistency in practice and adherence to school policy and/or procedure.
10. Maintains expertise in clinical and functional areas of responsibility by participating in continuing education and/or current employment denoting active competency and expertise in clinical area.
11. Use effective classroom management technique.
12. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Job Specifications
Current Pennsylvania RN or LPN license. Must have at least two years' experience as a RN or LPN and one year experience in skilled Long Term Care. Must have driver's license. Train the Educator Certificate preferred or able to attend class November 18-21 at CCAC North Campus.

This is a grant-funded temporary hourly part-time position without benefits.

Hourly Rate- $20-$23
