Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist - PRN - 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
The Nurse Practiti! oner provides health care services with the direction and supervision of the Hospitalist Physician. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, assessing patients' conditions, administering treatment, advising and counseling patients or legal guardians and assisting physicians as directed. The Nurse Practitioner performs diagnostic, therapeutic, preventative and health maintenance services appropriate to the patient's clinical presentation.
Qualifications
Education:
Must have graduated from an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Licenses/Certifications:
Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners within one year completion of the degree.
Must maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
