Job Summary:
Performs a variety of administrative/clerical support, customer service and p! atient care activities to support the Units mission of providing quality health care to each patient and support for their families.
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to read, write and speak English at a high school level.
Basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, and ratios.
Use of data terminal, personal computer, and all software applications required for the maintenance of supplies and the accuracy of patient data.
Ability to provide support to patients, families and visitors, in order to enhance comfort and security.
Ability to respond to emergencies and unpredictable situations in a calm manner while exercising good judgment.
Effective communication and interpersonal/behavioral skills.
Customer service orientation, including problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
Training & Education:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience! :
Experience in a patient care setting preferred.
