Psychiatric- Mental Health Registered
Nurse directs interventions that promote and foster health, assess
dysfunction, assist patients to regain or improve their coping
interventions focus on psychiatric-mental health patients and include
health promotion and health maintenance, intake screening and
evaluation, case management , provision of a therapeutic
environment(e.g., milieu therapy), monitoring patients and assisting
them with self-care activities, administering and monitoring
psychobiological treatment regimens(including prescribed
psychopharmacological agents and their effects), health teaching ,
counseling and crisis care, and psychiatric rehabilitation.
This position is part time, .4FTE, day
shift, 7am-3:30pm, every Saturday and Sunday only.
This position is part time, .2FTE, day shift,
7am-3:30pm, every other Saturday and Sunday.
Requirements
Education/Training/Experience/ Licenses/Certifications:
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
Cur! rent PA State RN license, BSN preferred.
Minimum 18 months e xperience in acute inpatient psychiatric setting.
Computer literacy
required.
CPR
certification required.
