Cardiology

Conveys a positive image of UPHS and CPUP and is an integral part of the healthcare team in the Department of Medicine Outpatient Practice. Works closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, patient service representatives and management in maintaining a patient/customer centered focus, supports the delivery of highest quality care, and promotes the organizational values of patient satisfaction by demonstrating courtesy and respect for patients and their families.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of Medical Assistant Program, certification preferred, CPR certification required; me! dical and pharmaceutical terminology required, computer literacy and effective communication skills required. One to two years of previous medical assistant experience preferred. Experience in ambulatory care setting preferred.
