JOB SUMMARY:
! Coordinates and supervises the delivery of educational activities on assigned unit. Collaborates with unit managers to supervise the orientation process.
Develops educational programs and processes to promote professional development for nurses throughout the organization. Assists in the implementation and continuing support of the electronic medical record.
Responsible for ensuring the very best patient/family experience by optimizing all customer interaction. Foster a positive work environment through mutual support and cooperation and adheres to GHS and unit specific Service Standards.
Directly accountable to the VP of Nursing, GBH.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
RN with current Pennsylvania licensure required.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field required.
Master’s degree in nursing preferred. Public speaking experience preferred.
Certification in specialty area preferred.
Thr! ee to five years of nursing experience preferred.
