Category/Shift/Hours per 2 week pay period: Part time/evening shift/30 hours per pay

Education/Trainin! g: A high school diploma, GED, or active registry status on the state nurse aide registry required; must possess verbal and numerical skills to read, write, and orally communicate with associate workers and residents with English as the essential language and understand job related information required. Successful completion of Pennsylvania Personal Care DPW Medication Administration Course/ Maryland Assisted Living Medication Administration course within first 90 days of employment and other Pennsylvania and Maryland personal care/assisted living requirements (including but not limited to competency exams, etc.) within the first two weeks of employment.

Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient organizational skills; knowledge of hazardous materials and bloodborne pathogens standards; knowledge of proper infection control procedures; ability to sit, sta! nd, lift, bend, reach, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.; ! valid drivers license; visual and auditory skills; CPR certification and first aid training (or eligibility and pursuit of certification).

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in related positions preferred.

General Responsibilities: Responsible for performing indirect care for residents.
