The employee in this classification shall report to the Service Director and is a member of the Developmental Disabilities (DD) treatment and management team. The managerial function of this position includes: overall sup! ervision of Site Supervisors and other assigned staff includin! g but not limited to recruitment, interviewing and hiring, training, evaluating and scheduling.
The treatment function entails social service coordination and case management responsibilities including not limited to: ensure on going security and safety of the programs, accountability for the client population, supervising the orientation of all new clients, conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing service plans, training, monitoring, and supporting staff delivering treatment services to the DD clients.
The successful applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in one of the generally recognized clinical disciplines, including but not limited to psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, special education or activity therapies and one to two years of clinical experience is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences with one to two years of clinical experience will be considered. Supervisory experience is required. In a! ddition, a current driver's license, private transportation, and proof of insurance coverage is required. A working knowledge of social learning theory, cognitive-behavioral intervention and approaches, assessment and evaluation is also required.
