This opportunity involves the selling of comprehensive chronic disease management programs to key specialty physicians in several ! territories within the State of Pennsylvania and Delaware markets.
The territories include Harrisburg/Lancaster; Delaware County (PA); and New Castle County (DE). The ideal residence for these territories would be within a thirty (30) mile radius of the territory's centerpoint , but strong candidates living elsewhere will be considered (provided there is a recognition of a large territory to be covered).
The major responsibilities include identifying the prominent doctors of certain specialties, developing rapport with them and their staff, and gaining their referred patients who will require long-term disease management. The client provides full delivery of such patient care, including the mixing of appropriate medications, the delivery and monitoring of such, and ongoing support and communications between the patient and physician. Call points include both physicians offices and hospitals, and include the hospitals Case Managers , who are directly involv! ed in the patient care- planning process. Some of the chronic ! disease therapies covered include: antibiotic treatment, enteral feeding, IVIG ( Intravenous immunoglobulin), TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition), and Inotropic Therapy .
The position pays a base salary ranging from the low $50Ks to mid $80Ks depending on experience), with commissions that should have the A/E in the six-figure total-income level in the second year. Mileage reimbursement, expenses, and benefits are included.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree, and at least three (3) years of experience selling home infusion therapy services directly to key physicians and case managers. Strong professional relationships with these decision-makers are highly-valued . A nurse with strong communications skills, and a desire to sell will also be seriously considered.
Home Infusion (I.V.) Therapy, Case Management, and/or Bio-tech/Pharma sales management are all ideal markets that are highly sought-after. The A/E must have a valid d! river’s license and maintain a driving record that meets companys standards. The candidate must also have auto insurance in effect at all times.
