Strayer University is seeking part-time campus based adjunct faculty to teach HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATION for the Winter 2014 term beginning January 6, 2014 (Terminal degree strongly preferred).

The following criteria must be met to apply:
Minimum qualifications to teach courses:
To teach undergraduate HSA courses:

• Master’s in Public Health
• Master’s in Health Services Administration

To teach graduate HSA courses:

• Doctorate of Public Health (D.P.H.)
• Ph.D. in Health Services Administration

Criteria for Faculty at Strayer University include:
1) Minimum of 3 years relevant management related work and/or teaching experience in the discipline to teach lower division undergraduate courses
2) Three to five years of relevant management related work and/or teaching experience in the discipline to teach upper division undergraduate an! d graduate courses
3) Minimum of 2 years teaching Adult Le! arners preferred
4) Experience using Blackboard and or other web-based learning platform preferred
5) Passion for real world application of theoretical concepts and techniques
6) The ability to both coach and instruct students in a classroom environment
7) Experience with the adoption of new technology and tools
8) Commitment to student success
9) Strong oral and written communication skills.

NOTE: Experienced in health administration required. Nursing, Clinical Health, and Health Education degrees do not qualify.
