UPMC Cancer Centers is hiring a Full-Time Research Data Coordinator to help support the Center for Rehab Services Administration HF Department for its Hillman Cancer Center location in Shadyside. This is a Monday ! through Friday position working 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the research data coordinator will work with the physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to coordinate data collection for patients on the clinical trials sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh.
Responsibilities
- Collects and inputs research information into sponsor and UPCI electronic data capturing systems.
- Assists research personnel in collecting and verifying information related to protocol management.
- Obtains medical records, laboratory, radiology, and pathology reports and other documents as required.
- Enters data entry into case report forms as designated per research study.
- Retrieves current and retrospective data on an ongoing basis, for assigned studies.
- Responsible for maintaining research records.
- High school diploma or equivalent! required.
- Education in health care or related field ! OR two years of experience in health care or related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Oncology background preferred.
- Strong data entry and computer skills preferred.
