Occupational Health /Registered Nurse

Description: Sunoco Inc is at present looking to employ Occupational Health /Registered Nurse right now, this vacancy will be placed in Pennsylvania. In conjunction with the Medical Director, the position will be responsible for case management of work and non-work related injuries, illnesses, and absences, includ! ing effective management of medical and non-medical portions of company’s FMLA policy for the business. Will be assisting in the performance of physical examinations for employees under various mandated and voluntary programs. Performs audiometry, pulmonary functions, height / weight, vital signs, vision testing, EKG, venipuncture, and respiratory fit testing as required. May interact with external medical providers to determine fitness for duty and planned course of treatment. Administers the Substance Abuse Testing Program for Business Unit , collects urine, hair and breath specimens. In conjunction with the Medical Director, provides consultation regarding occupational medicine programs and requested cases. coordinates Health and Wellness Programs and participates in policy making regarding health and safety issues and communicates on an ongoing basis for management to insure program effectiveness. Collects and analyzes statistical data to identify problems and trends,! making recommendations for required action. Maintains and con! trols a financial budget related to occupational medicine activites.

Requirements

Registered nurse with current Pennsylvania license required. Ideally certified through ABOHN or with minimum of 5 years of Occupational Health experience CPR certification required. BAT, drug screen collection and CAOHC certification desired.
