Nursing Assistant

Location: Holland Pennsylvania

Category/Shift/Hours per 2 week pay period: Full Time/Day Shift/75 hours per pay period

Education/Training: A high school dip! loma, GED, or equivalent verbal and numerical skills to read, write, and orally communicate with associate workers and residents with English as the essential language and understand job related information; enrollment, or eligibility for enrollment within 120 days of completion of the training program, on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry (successfully completed a Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation program or competency evaluation program and has been enrolled in the PA Department of Health, Division of Nursing Care Facilities Nurse Aide Registry); maintenance of certification by performing necessary continuing education requirements.

Skill(s): Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills to interact with all in-house departments, physicians, residents, residents' families; ability to be alert to details, significant changes in residents' conditions and behavior, being ! conscientious to provide safe and efficient nursing services f! or which training has been provided, and sensitivity to confidentiality; ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.

General Responsibilities: Responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents and to coordinate total nursing care for residents
