Description: Penn State Hershey Medical Center is looking of Patient Care Assistant / Nursing Assistant, Part Time, Eves (CNA) right now, this vacancy will be placed in Pennsylvania. Maintain awareness of patient population needs and scheduling requirements, provide ongoing communication with nursing staff for assigned patients, and prioritize patient care in conjunction with other team members consistently. Assist the team in meeting patient and family goals. Supervision and direction are provided by the Registered Nurse.

High school diploma or GED.

Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Basic computer skills required (Windows preferred).

Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions.

Ability to communicate effectively with hospital personnel and patient population.

Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.

Ability to prioritize duties and work as a team member.

Able to stand constantly; walk frequently; sit occasionally.

Able to lift/carry 0-10 lbs frequently; 11-50 lbs occasionally.

Able to push /pu! ll 0-20 lbs frequently; 11-75 lbs occasionally.

Able ! to climb occasionally; reach constantly.

Able to use hand for simple/firm grasping.

3 months of patient care-related experience.

If chosen for this position, you will be required to pass a Post Offer Employment Physical Exam in accordance with the measurements listed in the (WTA) Work Task Analysis report.
