NHS Human Services Capital Region is looking for an
experienced Team Leader to guide the ACT team in its
Harrisburg, PA location.
T! he Team Leader establishes administers, and directs the
program of the Assertive Community Treatment Team, a
self contained clinical team which assumes
responsibility for directly providing needed treatment,
rehabilitation, and support services to identified
clients with severe and persistent mental health
illnesses: supervises and evaluates the
multidisciplinary team in conjunction with appropriate
psychiatric support to ensure service excellence and
courteous, helpful and respectful services to program
clients; and functions as a practicing clinician on the
team.
- Supervise the day to day clinical operations of the
to ensure proper coverage is met
- Supervise and coordinate the admission process and
coordination with the psychiatrist. Scheduling
admission intervie! ws, developing and coordinating
initial assessments and tr! eatment plans.
- Coordinate all treatment provided to consumers
- Direct and coordinate assessments of the following:
assessment, Education and Employment, Social
development and functioning, daily living
activities, nursing assessment, and Psychiatric
assessment
- Provide clinical supervision of ACT team members as
assessment and treatment plan for each client This
includes weekly individual supervision of team
members and at least monthly, this should occur in
the field
- Initiating and maintaining relationships with staff,
human service agencies as needed
- Ensure client medical records are in compliance with
agency policy and standards as well as ensuring that
all third party payment requirements have been met
- Assist with staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring,
Monitoring process, enforcing company policies,
staff training, and other employee relation issues
as needed
- Participate in cross training with other specialists
Rate of pay is based on experience = $50k - $54k

Qualifications:
- Masterâs De! gree in Social Work, Counseling,
- This candidate must have strong clinical skills.
- Minimum 2 years post Master's experience working
Experience with a co-occurring population preferred.
- Two years supervisory experience strongly preferred!
- Good organizational skills are a must.
- LSW or LPC required; Certified Peer Specialist
willing and able to attend next scheduled training
to become certified;
Hours of work are primarily day shift - will require
being on-call/available to answer team member questions
after hours. Requires valid driver's license and
reliable transportation.
